ASTROPHOTOGRAPHY

This photo was captured through a telescope on 21st December, 2020. The next time Saturn and Jupiter will be this close, will be in 2040.

The most easily visible object through the telescope is the moon. Although visible through the naked eyes, observing it through the telescope is much more fun!

My most successful astrophotograph so far is this photo of the "lord of the rings," Saturn.

The beauty of observing the gas giant, Jupiter, lies in it's swirling red bands and its four largest moon (named the Galilean moons).

The view of craters of moon visible through the telescope.

The photo of Atlas V rocket launch from Cape Canaveral, Florida, on May 20, 2015, as seen through the naked eyes

An easily detectable object in the dark sky, Venus, the second brightest object after moon.

The most common astrophotography that people can do is clicking photos of the moon.

Look closely to find a ring of clouds around the moon. That's called a halo. Halo is produced by light interacting with ice crystals suspended in the atmosphere.

A beautiful photo of sun hiding behind the clouds.
